Each child was given a bag with a single item in it. I picked items that they were working on in math or some IEP goal area ;-). They were to quietly investigate their item using all their senses like we have been doing in science and list as many adjectives as they could think of about their item. They then went to the front of the room with their secret bag and shared their list of adjectives. Each child was given a guessing page and drew or wrote what they thought was in each bag. The item was then shared. The children had so much fun! They also watched and listened to Unpack Your Adjectives all week ;-) |
