Stop motion apps require practice , patience , time, planning and a bit of humor. As we start several new units in fractions, poetry and pirate club the stop motion app will be useful. Trying to learn it myself took several attempts and much trial and error. It involves numerous well though out sequential steps. I understand now what I am asking the children to do. So, here is my sample to brighten my mood that I will use to teach the children how to introduce themselves with a I felt with my busy week ahead and it being the week before a long break requires teachers to stay calm and carry on.. :-) The children will be asked to do something similar after watching several videos using a variety of materials including clay. They also watched while using the LCD TV, I walk through the process of making a small video using their ideas. | Below are a few pictures of how we set up each desk as a work station and a few children working. They all did an excellent job for their first attempts this year. One boy even figured out how to 'toss ' a ball though a hoop using pipe cleaners. Not one pipe cleaner was seen in his movie! They had a few directions- 1) Not to capture the hand moving or placing objects. 2) Their 1st name and one thing they liked in any form. 3) Under 1 minute |
