When parents and teachers support each other the children benefit. There are many activities outside of school that support the OT's efforts to improve balance, focus, body awareness, integration of the nervous system, strength, fine and gross motor skills etc. Activities like bike riding, walks in nature, swimming, yoga classes, dancing, Taekwondo, climbing walls, trampolines etc… help children develop many of the skills we work on weekly in class. |
