Building a Robot Tower requires teamwork and sticking to the group plan. | Keeping our bodies and brains in a group is challenging for many in class due to distractibility, impulsivity , executive function, processing relevant information & preferred interests. So, teamwork can be difficult. To expand on the concept that teamwork is a group working towards a common goal, I read aloud a simple book with excellent visuals about staying with a group plan ( goal). It is a basic concept but one we need to practice daily in Room 15. As the year progresses, we will practice & learn strategies to help us self regulate and become socially aware of our group's plan. This week in Pirate Club we practiced teamwork, keeping our brains & bodies in the group and following the group plan. And shared some giggles. |
