After learning about what clouds are made of, how elevation influences a cloud, different types of percipitation etc. The children were given an experiment to conduct in small partner groups. Each group inspected their single piece of cotton and made a hypothesis about how many drops of water the cotton can hold before it gets too heave and rains. Taking turns they counted drops carefully to see if their smart guess was correct. Next lesson will be why the numbers varied so much, what factors influenced the experiment etc. | |
