The children were asked to build a trap using materials brought in from home and provided by the teacher. They were very excited and engaged. First, they had to read a short article about the leprechaun myth to better understand what they were trying to trap. Next, given a set of specific parameters they selected their leprechaun puppet & built their individual traps. Finally, they had to complete some measurements for their trap's perimeter and height . Wishing each other luck and feeling confident they went home traps set up and ready to catch that pesky trickster. | Trap Criteria
